About this room

We are a diverse group, of dutch and internationals all in their late twenties/ early thirties up to 50 years old. All of us are still in academia, as this is the requirenment for our rental contracts. We are a living group, so we value shared meals, time and responsibility. Because we are a quite big group (seven people) it is hard to get all of us together and we do not have a fixed schedule for regular meetings. But because of the shared kitchen we naturally run into each other daily, often ending up eating or sometimes hanging out together. We also have a cleaning schedule that rotates monthly, so everyone has their responsibility in the house. Despite that we try to arrange a klusjesdag every now and then.

Who lives there

Your contract will be signed with DUWO, thus you have to be ENROLLED FULL TIME IN AMSTERDAM (student/ Phd) Despite that we are looking for someone in their mid twenties or older, as we are all a bit older ourselves. In addition, you should be an open and social person, that is not just renting a room in our little castle, but actively participates and takes over responsibility for the house and the group.
